We bring our cultural heritage to the world by organizing book fairs both domestically and internationally, as well as participating in existing exhibitions.

In 2024, we participated in 36 fairs across 23 different cities, meeting our readers while also representing Türkiye at fairs in Germany, Italy, Azerbaijan, and Iran.
At international fairs, we promote the values of the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation and help new generations learn about our culture.
At the events we organize for book lovers, we offer many opportunities such as meeting authors, book signing days, and literature workshops. Enjoy the spirit of literature in these special moments and connect with fellow book enthusiasts. Check out our event calendar and reserve your spot!
At the 2024 fairs, 90 publishing houses participated in Istanbul and 25 in Ankara, once again proving that the fairs continue to attract more participants each year. This growth highlights the increasing cultural impact of the fairs and the growing interest of book lovers year after year.
Since 1982, Ramadan fairs have been organized by the TDV Publishing and Printing Enterprise as one of Türkiye’s most longstanding cultural events. This enduring success continues to grow through the fairs’ diverse content and participants. With a rich history, these book fairs reach ever wider audiences each year through events held in different regions.
In 1996, the book fairs organized under TDV Publishing and Printing Enterprise were restructured into the corporate entity TDV Vakıf Fuarcılık, giving their activities a new momentum. This milestone allowed the fairs to adopt a more institutional framework and be organized in a more professional manner. Today, the book fairs in Istanbul and Ankara are held annually with increasing participation from publishers, bringing together book enthusiasts from across the country.
Initially held in the courtyard of Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Istanbul, the fair was relocated to the courtyard of Fatih Mosque in recent years due to renovations and venue changes. Similarly, the fair in Ankara, originally organized in the courtyard of Kocatepe Mosque, has been moved to the courtyard of Hacı Bayram Mosque for the past two years to reach a wider audience. These changes have improved accessibility and allowed for an increase in the number of participants.

The year 2025 will mark the 42nd anniversary of the Ramadan book fairs, with even greater interest expected compared to previous years. As every year, book lovers will gather at the fairs in Istanbul and Ankara, discover new publications, and have the opportunity to meet and converse with authors.
